Lulu Begins Offering EPUB-Format Ebook Options
In what I personally see as something that has been LONG overdue for ebook success at Lulu.com, the site has announced that they will begin allowing authors to publish in multiple ebook formats, with the new EPUB standard being available for the first time. This should greatly increase the availability and sales of ebooks to people who wanted to read on devices such as the iPhone, but were hampered by Lulu’s use of PDF only. Also interesting to note: want DRM on your title? It’s going to cost you more.
